It is the largest peak to valley drawdown for that pair; this figure can be used for evaluating your risk. Why are some pairs showing less profit than other pairs with same number of pips? This depends on the pip value of the currency pair in question. Can I trade various modes of money management in same portfolio? Yes, you can have fixed lot, ratio and delta settings in the same portfolio. When is the commission charged, at end of month or every trade? The commission is applied when the trade is closed. Can I set leverage with your platform, what if signal provider wants to buy $100k but I only want to open $10k? The client sets the leverage for each currency pair to their requirement, the signal provider only sends the signals, not a suggested lot size, and a client can trade from $10k lot upwards for each pair they decide to trade. There are 3 Modes of Money Management: (i) Fixed Lot – Fixed Lot size per trade. (ii) Fixed Ratio – Fixed Account % Risk per trade on Principal. (iii) Fixed Delta – Increases or Decreases lot size dependent on Account Balance. Would someone please tell me how these Money Management Methods work in simple language? Fixed Lots : Each time a signal is sent to your account, a fixed trade of 10k or 40k or whatever you select is sent to your account. Fixed Ratio : As you system produces a profit of x amount (Delta amount), then the trade size will increase by ratio base Fixed Fractional : This figures the trade size by risking a specified portion of your account. You determine the % of your account risked. Also, you need to find out the distance of stop used by the signal provider. I am in process of opening up a $3000 account, What would be the best strategy and system to select for a medium risk trading? You can filter through the systems on the platform. Feel free to check out some of the past chat log of the Regular Live Chats our expert do each day from 19.00 – 21.00 WIB. Press here to install the live chat messenger. Also, I would suggest checking out our Daily AutoTrading updates with some reviews of some signal providers. Subscribe our demo and you will get the updates through your email. By starting with a small amount, you'll want to filter through systems with a relatively small Max DD that have been around at least 12 months. Also, you'll want to consider systems that open a smaller number of Max Positions (like 1-3 Max Positions). How the trades function, is someone manually entering the entry/exit trades on the FATS end or are the trades automatically executed by technical data analysis? Let's assume I am a signal provider. When I wish to enter a trade, I will send my details to Tradency, who will automatically (through computer automation) send the signals out to all subscribers of FATS. It is possible that end users will experience slightly different results. This should be fairly minimal due to possible liquidity or slippage issues with the market at the moment the trade is executed. However, everyone who is subscribed to the same provider at the same time should receive the same signals (with slightly different fills). Those who did not receive the signals may not have been subscribed, or possibly they don't have enough margin in the account to cover. I’m new to FATS and I would like to know how the systems were collected and put together. How is a system evaluated before it is included in the collections? FATS is the software provider who developed by third party technology to allow other clients to trade their strategy. For the actual details of how to get included or for what the parameters are, feel free to ask in our live chat skype messenger. I already subscribed to FATS daily auto trading updates, and I would like to know why I can’t find the system that you mentioned on daily updates after I use the system seeker option on performance tab ? When you use the system seeker both on performance tab or add new system tab , the system listed only based on the time frame that you select, so in a case some system that you want do not show on the list that’s because within the time frame that you chosen there were no trades executed by the signal provider. Try to choose longer time frame, ex : since inception, or 1 year. Let’s say I really interested in some signal provider, and I want to see the forward testing result from System Equity (SE) Curve that I found on Portfolio Tab, How does it calculate? SE Curve is based on a sum of a day, meaning if a system lost 800 pips on a certain day, but profit 1,000 pips on the same day. Then SE Curve will sum up that day as a winning day. |

Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all investors. Before deciding to trade foreign exchange you should carefully consider your monetary objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your deposited funds and therefore you should not speculate with capital that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with foreign exchange trading, and seek advice from an independent advisor if you have any doubts. Past returns are not indicative of future results. HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. PERFORMANCE POSTED BY SYSTEM PROVIDERS MAY HAVE HAD LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE IN TRADING ACTUAL ACCOUNTS FOR ITSELF OR FOR CUSTOMERS. BECAUSE THERE ARE NO ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS TO COMPARE TO THE HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE PARTICULARLY WARY OF PLACING UNDUE RELIANCE ON THESE HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS.
